Peter de Villiers has named his 30 man squad for the Rugby World Cup, as South Africa look to defend their 2007 title as well as trying to win what would be a record third Rugby World Cup. Injury has already deprived the squad of Cheetahs flanker Juan Smith. The total number of caps in the squad is an impressive 1224, and will be led by Sharks hooker John Smit alongside vice-captain Victor Matfield.
